First day Depart (Xishuangbanna, Kunming, Guangzhou) and check into the hotel

Xishuangbanna contains a long and splendid historical and cultural beauty. More than a thousand years ago, the ancestors of the Dai people wrote many beautiful and touching myths and legends, fables, novels, poems, etc. on Bayeux and Brocade. More than 800 years ago, the first generation of Dai King Paiyazhen unified the rainforest land of Xishuangbanna and established Jinghong, the “city of dawn”, leaving an eternal legend. The natural villages, ancient parks, scattered Buddhist temples and pagodas all tell people about the rise and fall of dynasties and the changes of the times, bearing the loyal beliefs and totem worship of people of all ethnic groups from generation to generation. The beauty of Xishuangbanna is far more than that. The surging Lancang River passes through the city here, casting the majestic beauty on both sides of the river and the exquisite charm of the ancient city of Dai township. It can be called the treasure house of medicinal materials, the kingdom of fruits, the capital of food and the hometown of tea, and so on.

The second day Dai Garden in the morning and company annual meeting in the afternoon and evening

“Time will slowly precipitate, some people will gradually blur in your heart, learn to let go, and your happiness needs your own fulfillment.” The way to learn to let go is to arrange a trip for yourself. Some people say that traveling is the best way to relax. The Dai Garden in Xishuangbanna is located in Olive Dam, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province. There are five best-preserved Dai natural villages in the scenic area, while Mansong Man Ancient Buddhist Temple has a history of more than 1,400 years, and it is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Xishuangbanna, mainly showing Buddhist culture to tourists, such as the Buddha, chanting scriptures and worshiping Buddha. In the Dai Park, we visited the folk houses and courtyard scenery of the Dai family, experienced the living customs of the Dai family and felt the joy of being a Dai family for a day. There is also a large-scale festival activity area for villagers along the river, where folk activities such as flying high, burning lanterns and fighting cocks are held. The shopping area is selling Dai barbecues, cotton weaving, folk handicrafts, Dai bags, wood carvings and so on. Come here with the greatest piety and faith, put aside unhappy things, and the immersion experience will make you feel different and relaxed.

The third day In the morning, Dadugang 10,000 mu tea garden in the afternoon, Wild Elephant Valley primeval forest in the evening, and Zhuangfengqing Street in the evening

“I want to breathe the air of every city, feel the people of every city, and look at the scenery of every city.” Travel is poetry and romance in the distance, and it is a good way for us to broaden our horizons and enhance our knowledge. Read thousands of books and take Wan Li Road. It can also add some different colors to our daily life. Today’s Dadugang ten thousand mu tea garden is the longest contiguous tea garden in the world according to the tour guide. Dadugang has a tea garden area of 75,000 mu, of which 42,000 mu, the world’s largest contiguous tea garden, which is unique, beautiful and spectacular, is magnificent, giving people a fascinating beauty. Yunnan has a long history of planting tea, and local Pu ‘er tea is one of the top ten famous teas in China. When we visit in this season, although we can’t experience the fun of picking, it doesn’t affect the aroma of fine Pu ‘er.

After visiting the tea garden, it’s time for dry meals. For lunch today, we chose the “elephant meal” in Wild Elephant Valley-that is, the meal of elephants (this big guy is actually a vegetarian and eats hundreds of kilograms of food a day). Seeing all kinds of delicious food covered with banana leaves, I gave up my worries and began to eat. After lunch, I began to visit the Wild Elephant Valley. Today, I was lucky. Although I didn’t see herds of wild elephants in the forest, I also had close contact with gibbons and peak monkeys. This little guy can sleep peacefully no matter how noisy the environment is when he sleeps during the day-I really want to have this kind of sleep! Elephant performance is the highlight of Wild Elephant Valley. It’s hard to find a place to stand among the crowd with three floors inside, three floors outside and three floors in the middle. The whole performance includes sitting, painting, skipping rope, playing football and being a judge … these big guys are quite cute when they do these actions.

In the primeval forest park, we witnessed the “Peacock flying southeast”, which was not as beautiful as expected but spectacular. Further inside is the traditional village of Hani nationality, where I experienced the bamboo dance, so I won’t say much about the pinch. After that, I walked into the virgin forest and looked at the towering trees, and I had to sigh the magnificence of nature. Time to play always flies, and it’s dinner time in a blink of an eye. Today’s arrangements are all local special banquets, and we enjoyed a “peacock banquet” for dinner-not eating peacocks! Peacock Banquet, a representative banquet in Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, is a combination of dishes from five ethnic minorities (Dai, Jingpo, De ‘ang, Lisu and Achang) where Dehong lives, representing the great fusion of national cuisine and symbolizing the unity and happiness of Dehong people. There are several meat dishes here, which are obviously more popular than vegetarian food at noon.

Because the afternoon was reserved for the rehearsal and dinner of the annual meeting the day before, today’s itinerary is particularly full. After dinner, we immediately went to the Shuangjing Night Market in Gaozhuang West, known as the largest night market in Southeast Asia, which is the starlight night market in Tik Tok. All kinds of stalls here are decorated with lights, which are particularly beautiful against the background of the night.

The forth day In the morning, the Emerald Pavilion, in the afternoon, the rubber garden, the Menglu Buddha Temple, and in the evening, the Manting Park bonfire party

“Life is a journey, not about the destination, but about the scenery along the way and the mood of watching the scenery.” Emerald, also known as jadeite jade, jadeite jade, Burmese jade. In the Jade Pavilion, we learned from the commentator that there are two famous people who especially love jade in the history of our country, one is Empress Dowager Cixi of the Qing Dynasty, and the other is Song Meiling, the first lady of the Republic of China. Looking at the dazzling array of jade ornaments, I learned that after its high price, I couldn’t afford any ripples.

Rubber, as the main local cash crop, has rubber forests in almost every household. Family planning supplies, medical gloves, bedding and car tires that are common in our lives are mostly derived from this raw material. This is a veritable “cash cow”.

Mengling Buddha Temple, the royal temple of the Dai Dynasty in ancient times, includes the Peak Park, the Auspicious Giant Buddha, the Jingpiao Hall and the square. Mengling Buddha Temple witnessed the rise and fall of a dynasty and the changes of the times. Mengling Buddha Temple was restored and rebuilt on the original site of the royal temple “Jingpiao Buddha Temple” of the ancient Dai Dynasty. This is a typical Southern Buddhism temple. The Buddhist temple is based on the life of Buddha Sakyamuni and the activities of the Buddhist temple, which is skillfully integrated into the landscape and architectural groups, fully demonstrating the historical and traditional cultural colors of Southern Buddhism.

Today’s surprise is the “song and dance bonfire party on the night of Lancang River and Mekong River”, which consists of three parts: indoor song and dance performance, setting off river lanterns and bonfire party. Watching the song and dance performances with national characteristics, coupled with the beautiful stage design, once made people intoxicated.

After watching the performance, we lifted the lighted river lantern, made a wish, put it into the water, and watched it float into the distance full of hopes and blessings.

The climax of the evening was a bonfire party. Thousands of tourists gathered in a circle, followed the rhythm of music, took brisk steps under the guidance of the staff, and waved their hands to bid farewell to yesterday’s misfortunes and welcome a better tomorrow.

The fifth day Morning Huanglong Jade Pavilion Afternoon Dai natural residence Manting Royal Garden

“The best trip in life is when you find a long-lost touch in a strange place.” There are a large number of Dai people living here in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, and the residential buildings of Dai people are mainly “dry columns” (commonly known as bamboo houses). The upper and lower floors are made of wood and bamboo as piles, floors and walls, and the roof is covered with thatch and tiles. The upper floor is inhabited by people, and the lower floor is used for raising livestock and stacking farm tools and things. The whole building space is tall with bamboo or wood as walls and floors, which helps to keep the room dry and cool. National architecture and national costumes are national cultural symbols, and they tell us the culture of this nation with the situation given by the people. Writing has its development process. In areas where writing has not yet appeared, symbols such as buildings and costumes have become an important way for us to study national culture. The architecture of the natural dwellings of the Dai nationality fully considers the local climate and topographical characteristics, and shows us the wisdom of the ancestors of the Dai nationality.

The sixth day Return trip (Xishuangbanna, Kunming, Xishuangbanna)

Maze-like cities make people accustomed to seeing the same scenery, taking the same route and reaching the same destination; Habits make people’s lives no longer change. Habit makes people feel a sense of security, but also a sense of loneliness.
